The Sunday School provides classes from age 3 through Grade 8. These classes are staffed by dedicated volunteer teachers and assistants. The Church School is usually held during the first service each Sunday when there are two services (9:30 to 10:30 a.m., see Services) from September through May/June. On special occasions, when there is only one service, the Church school may be held during that time at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. or, alternatively, the teachers and children attend the service.
The Mighty Messenger is our Sunday Church School newsletter which comes out every 6 to 8 weeks to keep you up-to-date on happenings.
Since our Sunday School is run completely by volunteers from the congregation, we would be pleased if you could help in any way. We invite new ideas and talents.We teach in teams for continuity, support and to cover off for each other. Any youth that is interested in helping, please note the hours helping Sunday Church School count towards the community service hours needed for school.
The new curriculum of "Firelight" is being introduced this year, which teaches the age-old stories in exciting new formats. The curriculum is organized into units with five Bible stories each to be explored in different ways. The classes begin with a group devotional period and singing, followed by educational instructions.

Parents and their children are encouraged to sign up to host the fellowship between services. There are many available dates. Some of the classes will be volunteering to host. The sign up sheet is in the upstairs hall.
During our devotions on the first Sunday of the month, we will be acknowledging birthdays. Please let us know when it is your birthday.
