REFORMATION BRUNCH (potluck) October 28 following the 10:00 a.m. service.  The Reformation Brunch is traditionally a time to focus on our Lutheran Heritage, and enjoy fellowship together.  The Sunday School will sing at the Service.  The Grades 5& 6 class will perform a new Martin Luther skit in the Parish Hall after the service.

BIBLE STUDY using No Experience Necessary has three groups: beginner, intermediate or advanced.  Beginner group Monday, October 15, 7 p.m.  Other groups will start shortly.  Please sign up in parish hall.

 

SENIOR CHOIR  Tenors and basses are especially needed. The choir practices on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Contact Karen Holmes about participating in the music program.

 

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS A sign-up sheet is posted on the door of the nursery and on the bulletin board in the parish hall.

 

CENTRETOWN CHURCHES SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE presents a video on the life of Bonhoeffer, Wednesday, October 3 at 7 p.m. at Christ Church Cathedral.  Discussion and refreshments follow.

 

YOUNG ADULTS - ACTIVE & DYNAMIC Are you a young adult 18+ looking to engage with a dynamic group of people in activities ranging from Bible Studies to movies & BBQ’s?  If so we would love to have you join us.  We meet roughly once a month, with each meeting negotiated to involve as many people as possible.  While working with the No Experience Necessary Bible Study, we vary our activities regularly.  This fall we are starting our third year, and will begin our activities on Oct. 21 with a Bible Study.  Location and food arrangements to be determined.  For information contact Crystal Sissons.
