PRAYER REQUESTS to be included in the Sunday morning prayers can be written in the black loose leaf book  labeled “ Sunday Prayers for St. Peter’s”.  The book is in the parish hall.

 

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS STARTING SEPTEMBER 9

A sign up sheet is posted on the door of the nursery and on the  bulletin board in the parish hall.  It would be helpful, if you could sign up for one Sunday a month.  Experienced volunteers preferred.

 

BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY Anyone celebrating a birthday or anniversary will be listed in a bulletin insert.  Check the list for August, posted in parish hall, and add anyone who is missing.

 

BOOK “ By Faith” Lutherans in Ottawa & Valley may be purchased.  Cost $10.

 

GREETING CARDS featuring six of St. Peter’s stained glass windows may be purchased.  Cost $5.

 

SUMMER IN THE SPIRIT Summer is the time of renewal.  Please continue to pray for St. Peter’s ministry, and remember to make regular contributions.  May all the blessings of the Spirit enrich your summer.

 

SUMMER FELLOWSHIP after Sunday Worship.  For hot weather you may choose to serve a cold drink such as lemonade or juice.  Hosts for Fellowship are encouraged to keep it simple.  Sign-up sheet is in the parish hall.

 

FLOWERS may be placed on the altar in memory of a loved one or to commemorate a birthday or anniversary.   Place your name on the date you desire on the sign-up sheet in the parish hall.

 

PRAYER LIST Members and friends of the congregation have been randomly assigned a week during the year.  First names are included in the Sunday Prayers.
