YOUNG ADULTS  will meet following the 10 a.m. Service today. Gather outside the parish office.  The group will go to a BBQ and Bible Study.  No previous experience is required for the Bible Study.  Anyone between the ages of 18-35 is welcome.  For more information contact Crystal Sissons or Anna Kelley.

 

WORSHIP WORKSHOP orientation to new hymnal for worship leaders and musicians will occur October 21 from 9-4 p.m. at St. Peter’s.  Participants must pre-register by sending cheque to Registrar.  Please see Pastor Beglo for details.

 

ETERNITY FOR TODAY October-December  is available in the church office.

 

TWO SERVICES at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. resume next Sunday, October 1.

 

INSTALLATION Padre Stan Johnstone will be installed today at 2:00 p.m. as Chaplain General to the Canadian Forces at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 971 Woodroffe Avenue.  He is the first Lutheran to serve as Chaplain General.

 

NEW HYMNAL, Evangelical Lutheran Worship, will be published in October 2006.  Copies of the hymnal can be purchased for the church as a thank you to God, for a special occasion, or in memory of a loved one. While any amount can be donated, the pre-published cost is $24.00, including taxes and shipping.  Mark your offering envelope, “Hymnal”.

 

BIBLE STUDY SIGN-UP If you are interested in adult Bible study, using a new resource, No Experience Necessary, please talk to Pastor Beglo or sign up in the parish hall.  Study sessions will begin in the Fall, to be scheduled at the convenience of the  group.  Please indicate Unit One (First time with this Bible Study) or Unit Three (Previous experience with this Bible study).
