250th ANNIVERSARY YEAR-W.A. MOZART As a special project, the Senior Choir has been working on the composer’s Missa Brevis in F.  On Sunday, May 7, the Choir will sing this music at the 9:30 a.m. Communion Service, accompanied by strings and organ.  The instrumental group will also play one of Mozart’s Epistle Sonatas.

 

11:00 A.M. SERVICE Ushers, Worship Assistants & Acolytes are needed.  If interested, please call Heather in the church office. She will give your name to the appropriate coordinator.

NEXT SATURDAY-SPRING CLEANUP - 9:00 a.m.-Noon, at the very latest.  Volunteers are needed for washing windows, raking etc.  For information, speak to Bernie Rosien.  A sign-up sheet is posted in the parish hall.

 

OTTAWA/ST. LAWRENCE SPRING MEETING Next Saturday, Faith, Ottawa.  If available, speak to Pastor Beglo.

 

DOORS OPEN OTTAWA-JUNE 3 & 4.  A volunteer sign-up sheet is in the parish hall.  Teams of a minimum of four people are required to staff St. Peter’s building over six periods of time during the weekend.  Speak to Donamae Sannes for more information.

 

COMMITTEE MEMBERS

WARM WOOLY APPEAL When doing Spring cleaning, the Service Committee invites you to remember the needy in the community. Adult mittens/gloves etc. may be left in the small basket on the stage in the parish hall.

 

CENTRETOWN CHURCHES EMERGENCY FOOD CENTRE  Requests: Kraft Dinner, Spaghetti Sauce, Canned Soup, Peanut Butter.  Place your donation in hamper on stage in  parish hall.

 

FLOWERS may be placed on the altar in memory of a loved one or to commemorate a special occasion.  A sign-up sheet is located in the parish hall for you to choose a Sunday.
