COUNCIL The Congregational Council will be installed next Sunday.  The Council will meet on February 21 at 7:00 p.m. to elect officers for 2006 and appoint committees.  Volunteers and nominations for committees will be received at the meeting.  Committee appointments are for one year and renewable.  Please forward suggestions to Pastor Beglo or the church office.

 

VOLUNTEERS for  Feb. 23 &  March in the church office on Thurs. mornings to fold bulletins/straighten pews-children’s kits. Sign-up sheet  posted on bulletin board near church office.

 

SCS PANCAKE BREAKFAST February 26 with a devotion on the significance of Ash Wednesday and Lent.

 

APPLICATION FORMS for Eastern Synod Scholarship Fund/Spencer-Barche Education Trust Forms are available on the Youth/SCS bulletin board in the parish hall.  Preference is given to first year students from 2006-2007 in full-time post secondary school studies.

 

2006 OFFERING ENVELOPES (adult & children) are avail-able in the parish hall.  Completed pledge/time-talent/PAR sheets can be left in the church office or placed on the offering plates.  If you  require offering envelopes, notify  church office.

While anyone may attend the meeting, only members are permitted to vote and hold office.

Children are welcome to watch a movie downstairs during the Annual Meeting.

Sponsored by Evangelism/Stewardship Committee

6:00-7:00 p.m. dessert, informal conversation & singing of a  selection of Luther’s hymns.

7:00 p.m. the film will be shown, followed by a brief time for observations, questions and comments.

A review of the film is posted in the parish hall.
