HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOLFGANG W.A. Mozart’s 250th birthday anniversary will occur Friday, January 27.  Thank you to the choir for the “Gloria in Excelsis” and Mai-yu Chan and Karen Holmes for the piano duet for the Prelude and organ duet for the Postlude.

 

PRAYERS we remember the week of Prayer for Christian Unity which concludes Wednesday, January 25.

 

VOLUNTEERS February/March in the church office on Thursday morning to fold bulletins/straighten pews-children’s kits. Sign-up sheet  posted on bulletin board near church office.

 

2006 OFFERING ENVELOPES (adult & children) are avail-able in the parish hall. Completed pledge/time-talent/PAR sheets can be left in the church office or placed on the offering plates. If you require offering envelopes, notify church office.

 

PRAYER REQUESTS to be included in the Sunday morning prayers can be written in the black loose-leaf book labeled “Sunday Prayers for St. Peter’s.”  The book is in the parish hall.

 

WELCOME TO PASTOR GILBERT KABILA, a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Congo. He is serving a six-month internship at St. Peter’s. The internship committee includes John Pedersen, Jean Ringhofer, Earl Weybrecht and Pastor Beglo.

 

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING There will be one service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 12, followed by the Annual Meeting.  The meeting is open to everyone, but only members may vote or hold office.  The Annual report will be distributed in the parish hall the Sunday before the Annual Meeting, February 5.  A list of eligible voters will also be available for review at the church.

 

ACOLYTE sign-up sheets are on the SCS bulletin board in the parish hall.  You may also speak to Ingrid Cojbasic if interested in serving as an acolyte.

 

CENTRETOWN CHURCHES EMERGENCY FOOD CENTRE

Requests: Canned Tuna/Canned Fruit/Peanut Butter/Juice. Place your donation in the hamper found on the stage in parish hall.

 

PRAYER LIST Members and Friends of the congregation have been randomly assigned a week during the year.  First names are included in the Sunday Prayers.

 

FLOWERS may be placed on the altar in memory of a loved one or to commemorate a special occasion.  A  sign- up list is in the parish hall.

 

FELLOWSHIP volunteers are needed.  Please sign the sheet in the parish hall for the Sunday you would like to volunteer.

 

BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY Anyone celebrating a birthday or anniversary will be listed in a monthly bulletin insert.  Check the list posted for February & add anyone who is missing or make any corrections on the sheet provided.
