PRAYERS The week of Prayer for Christian Unity begins January 8 concludes January 25.

 

PARKING SPACE is available west side of church beginning Jan.1.Monthly rate for week day parking. Contact church office.

 

2006 OFFERING ENVELOPES (adult & children) are avail-able in the parish hall. Completed pledge/time-talent/PAR sheets can be left in the church office or placed on the offering plates. If you require offering envelopes, notify church office.

 

ANNUAL REPORTS Committee Chairpersons please submit any outstanding annual reports to the church office.

 

PASTOR GILBERT KABILA, a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Congo, will serve a six-month internship at St. Peter’s beginning in mid-January.  While there is no financial remuneration involved from St. Peter’s, any assistance with accommodation, etc. would be appreciated. An internship committee will be formed.  If you can assist, speak to Pastor Beglo.

 

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING There will be one service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 12, followed by the Annual Meeting.  The meeting is open to everyone, but only members may vote or hold office.  The Annual report will be distributed in the parish hall the Sunday before the Annual Meeting, February 5.  A list of eligible voters will also be available for review at the church.

 

VOLUNTEERS February/March in the church office on Thurs. mornings to fold bulletins/straighten pews-children’s kits. A sign-up sheet is posted on bulletin board near the church office.

 

CENTRETOWN CHURCHES EMERGENCY FOOD CENTRE

Requests: Canned Tuna/Canned Fruit/Peanut Butter/Juice. Place your donation in the hamper found on the stage in parish hall.

 

ST. PETER’S LIBRARY provides resource materials to help us learn our faith & accompany us in our spiritual journey.  The library operates on an honour system.  You are welcome to take books & videos home, but please remember to check them out and to return them.

 

FLOWERS may be placed on the altar in memory of a loved one or to commemorate a special occasion.  A  sign up sheet is in the parish hall.

 

FELLOWSHIP volunteers are needed.  Please sign the sheet in the parish hall for the Sunday you would like to volunteer.
